GET READY TO TALK, WALK AND RUN!

Grab your running shoes (or sandals, if you're a current or former ANASAZI Trail Walker) and get in step for the 2005 Talk, Walk and Run on Saturday, October 29. The event--which includes an 8K competitive race, a 5K run/walk and one-mile fun run--will be held on the runway at Williams Gateway Airport in Mesa.

For the second consecutive year, the Talk, Walk and Run serves as the culminating event of ABC 15’s year-long Take the Time to Talk campaign to raise awareness about the importance of spending quality time with your children. Research shows that meaningful parent-child discussions are essential to keeping children drug free.

The day's festivities will include a race-end celebration with food, music, and aircraft displays on the airport tarmac. We're also planning a Trail Walker reunion to catch up and reconnect with those who have been so important to ANASAZI and the families we serve.

Proceeds from the event benefit the families served by ANASAZI, House of Refuge, and the Arizona Chapter of The Partnership for a Drug-Free America.
