Fundraising Events
Each year ANASAZI Foundation, hosts several highly publicized fundraising
events reaching out to individual and corporate sponsors to raise needed
funds for the ANASAZI Scholarship Program - making it possible for families
with little or no financial means to participate in an ANASAZI walking.
Annual Scholarship Dinner
NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Bart Starr and his wife Cherry were honored with
ANASAZI's Turn for Peace award at the 2007 Scholarship Dinner, which was held
November 8 at the new Phoenix Convention Center. The event also featured a
musical concert by Broadway stars Franc D'Ambrosio (Phantom of the Opera) and
Christeena Riggs (Les Miserables, Wicked). Click here

All proceeds from the dinner are
used for scholarships and will not be diminished by the cost of the dinner
or administrative expenses. The Foundation's Board of Directors carefully
selects speakers who live exemplary lives--upholding the principles taught
to the young people participating in our program.
Past Speakers have included: Dr. Stephen R. Covey,
author of "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families;" Steve
Young, former Quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers; Mrs.
Barbara Bush, Former First Lady; Dave Checketts,
professional sports owner/executive; Richard
Paul Evans, the author of six National Bestsellers including The
Christmas Box; Marie Osmond, Children's Miracle Network founder and entertainer;
Bil Keane, the creator of the popular "Family
Circus" comics; and in 2005 we honored country music star and humanitarian Wynonna Judd.
These extraordinary individuals generously donated their time in support of ANASAZI's efforts.
Steve Young Golf Classic
The Steve Young Desert & Mountain Classics are annual events benefiting
ANASAZI Foundation & Forever Young Foundation.
With the help of celebrities from all fields, the tournament raises money
to help fund local programs and charities. In fact, in only its fourth
year, the Steve Young Desert Classic is one of the premier charity events
held in Arizona's "Valley of the Sun."
The Steve Young Mountain Classic, held each summer at the base of the
Wasatch Mountains, is on its way to becoming Utah's most popular charity
event.
Why are these tournaments so successful? Because, though our sponsors
have a great love for golf, they have a greater love for children.
