Fees & Financing

ANASAZI Foundation is a licensed and nationally accredited outdoor behavioral healthcare provider. We offer two programs:

Programs are billed via a daily rate. (For a quote, please contact a member of our Admissions team at 480-892-7403 or via e-mail at admissions@anasazi.org.) Included in the daily rate are all program costs/materials, individual and group therapy sessions, enrollment for parents in an 8-hour relationship workshop, a half-day Family Walking of WE session with seven weeks of parent coaching/shadowing following discharge, and enrollment (for one year following discharge) in ANASAZI’s Alumni Services program. A one-time admission fee of $1,250 covers a psychological evaluation and outfitting (clothing, one pair of hiking boots, and gear).

If a student extends beyond the minimum length of stay (49 or 56 days, depending on the week admitted), additional expenses related to the extension (e.g., for clothing and/or gear) may apply.

Note: Admissions are accepted continually (year-round) on a space-available basis. Discharges occur on Thursdays.

Student Physical Examination

A physical exam is required within two weeks of admission. The exam may be completed by the family’s primary physician or by ANASAZI’s contracted physician on the day of admission. If you elect to have the -+exam completed on admission day, there will be an additional charge of $205. Participants must also have a current TB test (included if physical performed on admission day) and tetanus vaccine ($35 if administered by ANASAZI’s contracted physician).


ANASAZI Foundation is a licensed and accredited Level II behavioral healthcare provider. Insurance coverage is based on medical necessity, previous treatment received, and appropriate placement of your child. An ANASAZI Foundation representative can help verify possible benefits upon request. Fees that are expected to be covered by insurance, even when pre-approved, are due upon admission. Reimbursement of these fees occurs when payment is received from the insurance company.

Financing Option

Financing the ANASAZI experience, via fixed monthly payments, is an attractive option for many families. Loans provided through Prosper¬†Healthcare Lending (www.prosperhealthcare.com, 888-602-6066) can cover tuition, fees, and transportation to and from the ANASAZI office. Working with a national network of specialized lenders, Prosper Healthcare Lending’s loan consultants help families find the most suitable financing options while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality. Financial Aid

ANASAZI Foundation is a non-profit (501c3) organization. Many parents have exhausted themselves financially trying to help a son or daughter in trouble. For this purpose, funds are raised by ANASAZI through private and corporate donations, grants, and special events. (Click here if you would be interested in making a tax-deductible donation to the ANASAZI Scholarship Fund.)

Financial aid may be awarded to those who qualify in the form of partial scholarships. Scholarships are awarded based upon financial need and regardless of race, faith, gender, or national origin. To be considered for a partial scholarship, you must complete a scholarship application.
