A thought for the day…

Let gratitude overflow,
from the sacred pouch of your heart,
for the two-legged beings
who step into our lives
when light diminishes to a spark.
That kind gesture
from the givers of light,
that rekindling of spark into flame,
sets, in the life of the receiver, a pattern to emulate.
Many flames
give greater light
for those stumbling in the dark.
